This Christmas season we’re giving you some gift ideas that should make it easier to shop for your love ones. The first video for this season, helps us keep the gold jewelry in our lives a bit longer. Let this be you golden brick road and see where it takes you.
The leather-covered faux watch bracelet is one of Natalia Brilli’s signature pieces.
This accessory designer specializing in making leather-covered jewelry and accessories for women and men. Loving the softness, matte look and feel that leather gives to jewelry, Natalia favors using treated lambskin for each of her creations which also gives them that Brilli signature look.
Since launching in 2004, Brilli not only creates jewelry and handbags but now produces other objects like skateboards, helmets, and even domino sets, which are all covered in high quality black leather from France and Italy.
This is taking the love of leather to a whole new level that I like! Maybe we can put the leather pants away for now and give Brilli some touch and feel time!
I’m not known for venturing above 42nd St in NYC to shop or stroll. I’m a downtown chic. Recently though, I had to meet a friend on Madison Ave and 67th St. Walking towards my destination, I found a jewelry designer that stood out from it’s neighbors like Dolce and Gabbana and Emanuel Ungaro.
Solange Azagury Partridge has no formal training as a jewelry designer, but had the opportunity to work with Nicky Butler from Butler & Wilson, plus Gordon Watson, a decorative arts dealer. Only after designing her own engagement ring in 1987 and receiving praises for it, did Solange decide to start her own company.
Opening her first shop in Nothing Hill, London in the year 1995, Sonalge quickly drew in an international clientele with her pieces that incorporates pop art, wayward sensuality and ancient mysticism.
Now with a several creative collaborations (H&M, Boucheron and Swarovski) under her belt, Mrs. Partridge opened her NYC store earlier this year, giving us a bit of joy to life with the jewelry she’s created.
Personally, I’ve always been a lover of the bangles. I’ll pile as much as I can and wear them as often as possible. This Spring, my favorite accessory will be the attention grabber. Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Louis Vuitton and Emilio Pucci, are just some of the collections that made the bangles stand out on the runways. We no longer just have the traditional circle bracelets, there are triangles, octagons, a circle in a square like Burberry Prorsum.Materials like wood, plastic, ivory and metal gives us more choices. Forget the earrings this season, it’s all about the wrists this time around. Depending on how many bangles are worn at once , your wrists can turn into weapons. Watch out now!
A little over a year ago, I complemented Kim Rittberg on her jewelry in passing, little did I know I’ll be asking her to become a vendor on TheRomeoReport.com.
Studying art history in college and traveling to 10 countries in a year, (including Southeast Asia, Australia, Spain and Ireland), Kim has applied her fine arts background to create unique and visually pleasing jewelry.
k ritt jewelry are all handmade pieces using gold, silver and semi-precious and precious stones that definitely shows that the designer, Kim Rittberg, incorporated her world travels into each piece.
