Luxury brand Hermès, is going full force with their brand. Forget their $6,000 birkin bags. Last month they unveiled a high-tech modular saddle featuring a tree made of carbon and injected thermoplastic, blah blah blah, the saddle cost $9,100. They didn’t stop there, keep the wallets open ladies.
For the price of about two and a half of the Hermès saddle, you can buy a pair of clip-on rose gold and black jade earrings, which cost $23,675. Why get a pair of earrings when you can get a diamond necklace for $880,000. What do you get for spending so much on a piece of jewelry, a custom-made alligator box. That’s the least they can do after you’ve spent enough to buy a mini mansion?
Someone has read my mind, after all these years of praying for it, and putting it out there, two of my favorite things have been put together, literally! Now this is where things could get a bit tricky, especially for a combo request like food and accessories. You have to be specific or else you never know what you’ll get in return.
These bags are how I’ll keep the healthy stuff close by from day to night! May also have a problem with people trying to steal my food.
I will happily but these boots into my mouth and keep it moving. Much better than putting it where the sun doesn’t shine.
For my chic dare devil friends. You can eat, and be safe at the same time. Don’t have to do anything, just let the watermelon juice drip down.
OMG, a man after my own heart. Are those jelly beans, oh and a caramel swirl! You do love me! I do I do I do.
These photos plus many more are from Fulvio Bonavia’s latest book Fulvio Bonavia: “Matter of Taste” It’s full of creations made with natural and edible elements.

As a fashion buyer you want more than just watching the models walk up and down the runways. The buyers need to touch the clothes, they need prices, fabrics used, etc. The sooner that information is available to them the better they can tell their fashion stories to the customers.
This is where trade shows come in, Coterie to be specific. For the buyers, fashion editors, and students that couldn’t attend the fashion shows, the trade show gives them up close and personal access without the glitz and glamour.
After fashion week the serious work begins for the designers and buyers.
This video shows you what a visit to Coterie can be. My co-worker, Isidoro, and myself spent last Monday morning getting a glimpse of what our favorite designers created, visited old friends and previewed what we’ll be wearing come next fall!
New York Fashion Week will be over soon, and we survived this first lap of the Fall 2010 collections even with all the snow and freezing tempertures. From what I’ve seen, we’ve layer it up pretty well and in our own unique way. This is something that we do well with the right coat and boots, but what about accessories? In this case ,bigger is better because you should have to stand out with what you wear around your necks along with the overcoats and hats.
All of the pieces featured on this page plus many more “statement makers” are available on CoutureCandy.com
The Grammy Awards gives us our best musical artists that outshine the others. With such creative and talented minds ruling the hottest musical night of the year, there is no way that they plan on not making a statement with their clothes, accessories and jewelry.
Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce they all get to wear some of the best and unique pieces of jewels from around the world for the Grammy’s and most times they’re borrowed. I’ve found some great pieces from Raffaelloties.com /Raffaello Network that will live up to the jewelry we always love to see on the Grammy Awards, but with price tags that would not have you singing “No, No, No.”
Some like the heart shaped rings earrings, necklaces for Valentine’s Day while others, still want the jewels, but wouldn’t mind stepping out of the box. There is something for both and we’ll start with something for the neck. Found some great necklaces great from Diamond Harmony that helps give you the flashing effect, and still show the love.

The leather-covered faux watch bracelet is one of Natalia Brilli’s signature pieces.
This accessory designer specializing in making leather-covered jewelry and accessories for women and men. Loving the softness, matte look and feel that leather gives to jewelry, Natalia favors using treated lambskin for each of her creations which also gives them that Brilli signature look.
Since launching in 2004, Brilli not only creates jewelry and handbags but now produces other objects like skateboards, helmets, and even domino sets, which are all covered in high quality black leather from France and Italy.
This is taking the love of leather to a whole new level that I like! Maybe we can put the leather pants away for now and give Brilli some touch and feel time!
