Fashionable Art.

Fashionable Art can mean different things to several people. It can be the clothes one wears, the shoes we walk in or the accessories used to complete an outfit. What about taking fashion and making it something we can put onto our walls. If some of us could, we would take fashion magazine pages and frame them. That may lack some class though. Alternatives you ask for, Illustrations and graphic design are some. Illustrators like Andy Warhol, Julie Verhoeven, Jean-Philippe Delhomme, Renaldo Barnette and Michael Roberts have used fashion to showcase their visions and talents with colors and shapes. They are just a few of the many artists that allows us to put Fashionable Art on our walls.

Happy New Year. Year Two Here We Come! is ready for 2010 . To start things off right, I needed something that would pop for my first art project in this new year. I found an image that I was able to sketch from and create at least 12 different versions. The same thing was done for my first art project of 2009, TheRomeoReport: Issue 19, this could become a tradition, let’s see what I can come up with for the next 12 months. Enjoy!

I Know What Boys Like!

Forget wrapping yourself in a bow or wearing lingerie for him, save that for another occasion.  The boys like toys, and it’s only fair that they get something special for the holidays too.  Maybe my picks will fit the guys in your life.

You Can't Go Wrong With The Gifts.

Giving someone a gift for their living space is one of the safest ways to remain a great giver without offending anyone.    Adults like books with pictures just as much as kids do, we just like to put them on our coffee tables and they have hardcovers.

Get some reasonably prices vases at Potterybarn. You can also get them engraved without breaking the wallet and impressing the gift receiver all at once.

Home scents always rule and it’s one of the easiest gifts to purchase. Soy-based line, Archipelago, has scents that are not overwhelming, and keeps the fragrances in the air, long after a candle has been blown out.

If you know someone that has a dog,  getting something for the four legged friend this Christmas, will make a great impression

Since this is the season when most of us eat a lot,  why not make sure the cook has some help from Dean and Deluca’s spice rack.  Wile the cooks are making the best meal for the year, everyone else can snack on cheeses, fruits or fine chocolates from Petrossian.
